Dear Bridal Couple,
We often have clients asking for suggestions for their key moment songs such as the processional, recessional, entrance to the venue, first dance and cutting of the cake songs. It’s quite tricky to recommend a song for two reasons. Firstly, people have a wide and varied taste in music nowadays. Secondly, the song is a personal choice for the couple, which normally echoes back to a first date, a romantic dinner or special vacation together, for example. Perhaps the following list of songs that our previous clients requested over the 2016 – 2022 period may give you some inspiration!
Tip (especially for the grooms!): A processional is the song that your partner walks down the aisle to at the beginning of the ceremony.
A recessional is the song you both walk back up the aisle to once you have been declared married. A confetti song is played when you leave the ceremony area or return from signing the register and your friends and family throw confetti. If you are not signing the register, the recessional and confetti song can be the same track.
